Providing personalised support to help you better understand and manage your diabetes with confidence

Hi, I’m Heidi — Pharmacist and Diabetes Educator. I’ve happily called Bridgetown home for the last 8 years, nestled on 5 acres with my husband and our 3 teenage children, a dog, a few chickens and a couple of goats.

I’ve worked in community pharmacy for more than 20 years after studying Pharmacy at Curtin University. Over the years, I’ve developed a real passion for helping people navigate their health in a practical, supportive, and down-to-earth way — whether that’s treating minor ailments, providing everyday healthcare advice, or helping people better understand and manage their medications and chronic health conditions.

More recently, I completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education through The University of Western Australia and am currently working towards becoming a Credentialed Diabetes Educator with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association. I am really excited for this next chapter in my career, helping people better understand diabetes and how to prevent the long term complications associated with diabetes.

I believe healthcare should feel approachable, realistic, and personalised. My focus is on helping people make small, sustainable changes that can have a big impact on their long-term health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me talking (a lot!), sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking sour dough bread, or enjoying country life with my family and friends.

My current favourite motto is:

“Consistency over perfection.”
